Terms of service

Last updated 1 October 2026 · Alade is operated by SpyKidDev, Lagos, Nigeria

1. What Alade is

Alade is a platform that lets a business create and run an online store, accept payments through Paystack and manage orders. Alade is not the seller of the products listed on any store. Each store is run by the merchant who created it.

2. Your account

You must be 18 or older and give accurate details. You are responsible for everything done through your account and for keeping your password safe. One person can own several stores.

3. Plans, trials and billing

Every plan starts with a 5-day free trial. After the trial we charge the plan price monthly or yearly to your saved card. If a charge fails we try again on day 1 and day 3, then pause the store until it is paid. You can cancel at any time and the store stays live until the end of the period you paid for.

4. Payments to merchants

Customer payments are processed by Paystack and settled directly to the merchant’s bank account. Alade does not hold customer money and does not take a share of sales.

5. Domains

Every store gets a free address on the Alade domain. Merchants can connect their own domain. When Alade buys a domain on a merchant’s behalf, the domain is registered in the merchant’s name and billed separately.

6. Content and conduct

Merchants own their product content and must have the right to sell what they list. Alade may suspend a store that sells prohibited items, deceives customers or abuses the platform. See the Acceptable use policy.

7. Data

Alade stores merchant and customer data in secure data centres and processes it under the Privacy policy and the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will email merchants at least 14 days before a material change. Questions: opanugaaladetomiwa@gmail.com.
